Nike US 10 is 27.1 cm on this table; Veja’s nearest US is also 10, but Veja’s EU column at that row is 43.5, not Nike’s 44.0. The US labels match; the EU labels do not. That is the whole point of the cm column: ignore “EU 44” shopping filters when the brands disagree.
US 8.0 is 25.4 cm on the Nike side; US 13.0 is 29.7 cm. Veja tracks those US numbers here, so the converter’s 1:1 US line is honest for length labels. It is not honest for volume. Air Force 1 is often the roomy Nike reference (many size down); Dunk and Pegasus sit closer to TTS; V-10 is a leather court last that many wearers find snug through the toebox even at the matching US size.
If you take AF1 in a 9.5 because it runs long, do not copy that 9.5 into Veja — convert from your Dunk/AJ1 size or from the 27.1 cm row. Half a size on this chart is 26.7 → 27.1 → 27.5 cm.
