Adidas US 10 is 27.1 cm and the nearest On US is also 10 (EU 44). The table is 1:1 from US 6 (23.5 cm) to US 13 (29.7 cm). The wear-box “Adidas 10 ≈ On 10.0” is that centimeter match — not “Samba equals Cloud 5.” On prints EU 44 at US 10 here; Adidas does too on this page.
The lasts disagree. Samba OG is TTS length with a skinny T-toe; Gazelle often feels a half long for narrow/average feet; Ultraboost and Campus 00s are volume stories. On Cloud 5 is the snug everyday last (half-up is common; speed-lace). Cloudmonster is the roomier cushion trainer; Cloudsurfer sits with that family. Taking a Samba you already half-up for width, then adding another half because “Cloud 5 runs small,” stacks two unrelated offsets on a 1:1 chart.
Convert from the Adidas size that fits in length (usually TTS Samba, or 27.1 cm), then pick the On model. If Cloud 5 still feels short after that, the next half on this table is 27.1 → 27.5 cm (~4 mm). If the pinch is midfoot, Cloudmonster at the same US is the width/volume move, not a second length jump. Do not copy Gazelle’s half-down into Cloudmonster — that terrace length quirk is not an On rule.
