This ladder is not 1:1. Adidas US 10 is 27.1 cm and the nearest Salomon US is 10.5 (EU 44.5) — that is the wear-box. Adidas US 10.5 (27.5 cm) also prints Salomon 10.5. Adidas 8.5 (25.9 cm) jumps to Salomon 9.0; Adidas 9.0 (26.2 cm) stays Salomon 9.0. Those bunches are nearest-centimeter matching, not a claim that Salomon “runs small” as a brand rule.
Adidas terrace shoes split as usual: Samba OG is TTS length but narrow; Gazelle often feels a half long; Campus 00s and Ultraboost 1.0 follow their own volume. Salomon’s two linked trail lasts both use a +0.5 converter offset for many lifestyle/wide/thick-sock wearers: XT-6 is a tight SensiFit wrap; Speedcross 6 often feels small versus casual shoes. The chart’s printed 10.5 is a cm match. Do not also add the trail +0.5 on top of that 10.5 unless you are choosing the lifestyle/wide path after the ticket is set.
If you already downsize Gazelle, do not auto-downsize XT-6 — Gazelle’s length-down is a terrace quirk. If Samba felt narrow, that is not the same as SensiFit lockdown. Half a size on the Adidas column around US 10 is 26.7 → 27.1 → 27.5 cm; both of the last two still print Salomon 10.5. Use the cm column, then pick XT-6 versus Speedcross without stacking the chart jump and the trail offset as two extra sizes.
