How this Hoka → New Balance chart actually maps

This is not a 1:1 US ladder. Hoka US 10 is 27.0 cm and the nearest New Balance US is 9.5 (EU 43) — the wear-box already says “Hoka 10 ≈ New Balance 9.5.” Hoka 10.5 (27.4 cm) maps to NB 10.0; Hoka 9.0 (26.1 cm) and Hoka 8.5 (25.8 cm) both land on NB 8.5; Hoka 8.0 (25.2 cm) lands on NB 7.5. Several Hoka half-sizes collapse onto one NB label because the printed cm steps do not line up.

Copying US 10 to US 10 is the usual miss: that would ignore the 27.0 → 9.5 match. Hoka’s linked models (Bondi 8, Clifton 9, Speedgoat 5) are TTS length on this site, with Wide SKUs for forefoot. New Balance is the opposite toolkit: 574 and 990v6 publish D / 2E / 4E, while many 550 and 9060 colorways are D-only.
