How this Converse → Jordan chart actually maps

This ladder is not 1:1. Converse US 10 is 27.4 cm and the nearest Jordan US is 10.5 (EU 44.5) — that is the wear-box. Converse US 6.0 (23.8 cm) maps to Jordan 6.5; Converse 9.0 (26.4 cm) stays Jordan 9.0; Converse 13.0 (29.9 cm) stays 13. Around US 10 the steps are 26.9 → 27.4 → 27.8 cm (Converse 9.5 / 10 / 10.5), and those three rows print Jordan 9.5, 10.5, and 11.0.

Chuck Taylor All Star High and Chuck 70 High both run long (official half-down, offset −0.5). Air Jordan 1 High is TTS length; Air Jordan 4 Retro is TTS in length but narrow (wide feet often half-up). The chart has already moved a labeled Converse 10 onto Jordan 10.5 because 27.4 cm sits closer to that Jordan row. If you already wear Chuck 9.5 because you followed the half-down, that row is 26.9 cm and prints Jordan 9.5 — do not then add another half. If you still wear Chuck 10 (no half-down), Jordan 10.5 is the cm match, not a claim that AJ1 runs small.

Do not apply the chart’s +0.5 at US 10 and the Chuck −0.5 as two extra moves. Wide feet in AJ4 may still want the width half-up after the cm ticket is set. Use the Converse cm column you actually wear, then pick AJ1 versus AJ4.

FAQ

How do I convert Converse shoe size to Jordan?
Match by foot length in centimeters on each brand’s chart. Example: Converse US 10 ≈ Jordan US 10.5 (about 27.4 cm). Then adjust for the specific model’s fit (runs big/small/narrow).
Is a Converse US 10 the same as a Jordan US 10?
Not always. Labels can map to slightly different foot lengths. Use the cm column, then check model guides on both brands.
Which direction should I read first?
Start from the brand you already wear, then open the model fit pages linked below — lasts differ even when charts match.
