Affiliate disclosure

Last updated: 14 October 2026

This page is the sitewide Amazon Associates / FTC disclosure for whatsizetobuy.com. It matches the on-page wording you already see next to shopping links: “As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases” and “(paid link)”.

Amazon Associates

whatsizetobuy is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Product search and “where to buy” links may go to Amazon.com with tracking tag whatsizetobuy-20. If you click and later buy, Amazon may pay a commission at no extra cost to you. Those links use rel="sponsored" (and usually nofollow) where they appear.

The live Associates tag on this site is whatsizetobuy-20 (Amazon.com). We do not invent UK, Canada, Australia, or OneLink tags.

Editorial independence

Fit verdicts are independent editorial judgment. A link is not paid placement of a size recommendation. We do not change “runs big / small / true to size” because a retailer paid for the click. Most pages are still source-backed hypotheses, not a lab that measured every SKU — see methodology.

What we do not do

• We do not hide the commercial relationship. Footer copy and “(paid link)” labels sit on the same pages as the Amazon buttons.
• We do not claim we tested a product in a lab solely because an Amazon link exists.
• Display ads are not running on this site today. If that changes, it will be described on privacy and the cookie policy — not invented here.
