Fit diary & community notes

Draft guides: Matrices summarize seed fit rows. Individual model pages carry the full notes — see methodology.

Fit data on this site starts from seed CSVs and source checks — not invented crowd percentages. Reader notes can still help: they flag where summaries feel wrong, which colorways differ, and which socks/break-in stories keep repeating.

How feedback may update a page

  1. You send a note via fit feedback (email — no public profile).
  2. We treat it as a lead, not a vote. One email never flips fit_confidence to high.
  3. If several independent notes align with retailer/forum sources, we may tighten the summary or width note.
  4. We still will not publish fake “n=47 said runs small” theater.

Anonymity

We do not display your name or email on model pages. Community blocks on a few S-tier pages are invitations (“reports vary — submit yours”), not fabricated stats. Details: /feedback/.

Owner workflow

Incoming notes can be pasted into the repo feedback_log.md for later verification against methodology.

FAQ

Will my email appear on the site?
No. Feedback is for editorial review only — see the anonymity section on /feedback/.
Do you show percentages of what people said?
No. We refuse fake sample sizes. Pages may invite reports without inventing n= counts.
How fast do pages update?
Only after cross-checking sources. Draft badges stay until verification is honest.
