Different brands — charts and lasts both matter. Bondi 8 is labeled True to Size (TTS for Hoka runners; half up for socks/swell — use Wide not length for width). Ghost 16 is True to Size (True to size — use Brooks widths if you need them).
Bondi 8 is typically true to size for Hoka wearers, but some fit blogs still recommend +0.5 versus a usual street size while others call the platform voluminous. Prefer Hoka Wide over automatic length upsizing when width is the issue — Partial.
Brooks Ghost 16 typically fits true to size as a high-volume neutral daily trainer. Use B/D/2E (and extra-wide) options instead of oversizing length. Leave a thumb’s width of toe room for running; some testers find the 16 a touch snugger than older Ghosts.
