This ladder is not 1:1. Asics US 10 is 27.0 cm and the nearest Converse US is 9.5 (EU 43) — that is the wear-box. Asics US 9.5 (26.6 cm) maps to Converse 9.0; Asics 10.5 (27.4 cm) maps to Converse 10.0. Asics 6.5 (23.9 cm) collapses to Converse 6.0; Asics 13.0 (29.6 cm) stays 13. The matcher bunches labels when Asics centimeters sit closer to a Converse row than to the next.
Gel-Kayano 31 is TTS in length when you pick the right width (2E/4E rather than guessing with length); Gel-1130 is the same length-offset family. Chuck Taylor All Star High and Chuck 70 High both run long (official half-down, offset −0.5). The chart has already moved Asics 10 onto Converse 9.5. Do not also half-down the Chuck on top of that printed 9.5 or you double-cut.
Read the row you actually wear. If Kayano felt snug, that is a width-letter problem — it is not a second Converse cut. Wide feet may stay at the Converse label the table printed rather than chasing Chuck’s half-down. Half a size on the Asics column around US 10 is 26.6 → 27.0 → 27.4 cm; those three rows print Converse 9.0, 9.5, and 10.0. Use the cm column, not an “always minus half” story.
