Different brands — charts and lasts both matter. 1460 8-Eye Boot is labeled Runs Big (Size down half to full from sneakers). Classic 500 is True to Size (True to size (AU/UK stamp); half up for width).
The 1460 is built on a generous last and is widely reported to run long versus sneakers. Most wearers size down half to a full size; Dr. Martens often sells whole sizes only, so between sizes usually means rounding down. Expect a stiff leather break-in before the fit settles.
